Enterprise Engineering is looking for a systems development manager to lead technical delivery as we evolve our IT in support to Amazon’s Healthcare Services teams. Your team will own configuration and optimization of applications within the application suite, integrations with other products in the technical ecosystem and ensure operational excellence of the platforms.
In this role, you will be responsible for leading a strong team of engineers to deliver a productivity and collaboration integrations and tooling that delights Amazon employees and enables them to work more effectively every day.
This role offers excellent visibility across the entire Amazon’s IT organizations. You will apply your advanced knowledge of healthcare applications and best practices as you work closely with cross-functional engineering teams, security engineers, service owners, business leaders, and program and product managers working together to deliver solutions to a secure, scalable and sustainable healthcare IT platform.
Key job responsibilities
Drive efficiency for Amazon Healthcare employees and your partner teams through advanced insights and controls, best practices and state-of-the-art tools as you lead improvements in our IT infrastructure, and keep the platforms current, secure, and healthy.
The role requires a strong partnership and collaboration with teams across Amazon to ensure focus on solving the right problems, easy onboarding, and driving adoption.

- Bachelor's degree
- 5+ years of engineering team management experience
- 7+ years of planning, designing, developing and delivering software
- Experience partnering with product or program management teams
- Experience managing multiple concurrent programs, projects and development teams in an Agile environment- Experience designing and developing large scale, high-traffic applications
- Experience leading health care technology teams
