Reliability Engineer, AI & Data Platforms (AiDP)

Who you are

You have 3+ years of professional software engineering experience with large-scale big data platforms, showcasing strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Scala, Python, or Go. Your expertise lies in designing, building, and operating large-scale distributed data processing systems, with a particular focus on Apache Spark. You are skilled at coding for distributed systems and developing resilient data pipelines, ensuring that the platforms you work on are both scalable and reliable.

Your background includes hands-on experience with table formats and data lake technologies like Apache Iceberg, which allows you to optimize query performance effectively. You possess a strong understanding of incident management, enabling you to identify and resolve production errors swiftly. Your excellent communication skills facilitate collaboration across diverse teams, making you a valuable asset in any project.

What you'll do

In this role, you will join the AI and Data Platforms team at Apple, where you will be responsible for developing and operating our big data platform.
