Who you are

You have a strong background in pricing strategy, ideally with experience in SaaS environments. Your expertise allows you to refine and implement pricing and packaging strategies that are grounded in customer value and market data. You understand the importance of aligning cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives and drive revenue growth.

You possess excellent analytical skills, enabling you to track and communicate pricing strategies effectively. Your ability to translate pricing theory into commercial reality is a key asset, as you work closely with leadership to ensure that pricing decisions are informed by data and aligned with the company's goals.

You are a strategic thinker who can balance operational responsibilities with high-level strategy development. Your experience in collaborating with diverse teams, including Product, Sales, Marketing, and Finance, equips you to navigate complex organizational dynamics and drive successful outcomes.

You have a proven track record of driving revenue and margin expansion through effective pricing strategies. Your ability to communicate complex pricing concepts clearly and persuasively is essential for gaining buy-in from stakeholders across the organization.

Desirable

Experience in a high-growth technology company is a plus, as is familiarity with AI-driven revenue systems. You may also have a background in product marketing or financial analysis, which would further enhance your ability to contribute to the role.

What you'll do

As the Pricing Strategy Director, you will be pivotal in shaping the pricing strategy for SalesLoft's SaaS offerings. You will partner with leadership to refine and implement pricing and packaging strategies that reflect customer value and market dynamics. Your role will involve analyzing market data and customer insights to inform pricing decisions and ensure competitiveness in the marketplace.

You will be responsible for tracking the effectiveness of pricing strategies and communicating results to stakeholders. This will involve developing metrics to measure the impact of pricing changes on revenue and margin, as well as providing insights to guide future pricing initiatives.

Collaboration will be a key aspect of your role, as you will work closely with cross-functional teams to align pricing strategies with overall business objectives. You will facilitate discussions between Product, Sales, Marketing, and Finance teams to ensure that pricing decisions are well-informed and strategically sound.
