Overview

Carvana is seeking a Senior Auto Technician to perform extensive repairs and diagnostics on various vehicles, including electric and hybrid models. This role requires a minimum of 5 years of professional automotive repair experience.

Who you are

You have a minimum of 5 years of professional automotive repair experience, demonstrating a strong foundation in automotive mechanics and repair techniques. Your expertise includes performing extensive repairs and heavy engine work, as well as advanced vehicle diagnostics. You are skilled in repairing advanced vehicle electrical issues and have experience with installing, repairing, and replacing vehicle refrigerant and recovery systems. Your knowledge extends to working on all makes and models, including electric and hybrid vehicles, showcasing your versatility in the automotive field.

You are a team player who thrives in a collaborative environment, committed to delivering exceptional customer experiences. You understand the importance of using state-of-the-art tools and technology in your work, and you are eager to contribute to a high-tech Inspection Center. Your ability to adapt to new challenges and learn quickly makes you a valuable asset to any team.

Desirable

While not required, certifications such as ASE would be beneficial to your application. Familiarity with the latest automotive technologies and trends will enhance your ability to perform diagnostics and repairs effectively. A valid driver’s license and the ability to communicate effectively in English are essential for this role.

What you'll do

As a Senior Auto Technician at Carvana, you will be responsible for performing extensive repairs and diagnostics on a wide range of vehicles. You will tackle heavy engine work and advanced vehicle electrical issues, ensuring that all repairs meet the highest standards of quality and safety. Your role will involve installing, repairing, and replacing vehicle refrigerant and recovery systems, as well as conducting thorough diagnostics on electric and hybrid vehicles.
