Serverfarm is seeking a Critical Facilities Mechanical Engineer to innovate in the data center industry. You'll be involved in the development and operation of cutting-edge data centers. This role requires expertise in mechanical engineering principles.

Job Description

Who you are

You are a skilled Mechanical Engineer with a strong background in designing and maintaining critical facilities, particularly in the data center sector. You understand the complexities of mechanical systems and their integration into larger infrastructure projects. Your experience includes working with HVAC systems, electrical systems, and other mechanical components essential for data center operations. You are detail-oriented and have a proactive approach to problem-solving, ensuring that all systems operate efficiently and reliably.

You thrive in a collaborative environment, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that all engineering solutions meet operational requirements. Your communication skills allow you to effectively convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders, ensuring that everyone is aligned on project goals. You are committed to continuous learning and staying updated on the latest technologies and best practices in the industry.

Desirable

Experience with energy-efficient design practices and sustainability initiatives in mechanical engineering is a plus.
