Who you are

You have 5 to 8 years of related industry experience, ideally with 2 years in a customer-facing role — your background equips you to understand customer needs and translate them into technical solutions. You possess a minimum of 2 years of experience with modern scripting languages such as Python and Node.js, as well as popular programming languages like C/C++, Java, and C# in a professional capacity. Your experience includes implementing scalable and highly available distributed systems both in the cloud and on-premises, showcasing your ability to handle complex architectures. You have excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills, allowing you to effectively engage with a diverse range of clients from startups to large enterprises.

Desirable

Experience with cloud technologies and distributed systems is a plus, as is familiarity with MongoDB's data platform. You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working closely with sales executives to solve business problems through technology. Your ability to review complex application architectures and provide actionable guidance is a key strength.

What you'll do

As a Solutions Architect at MongoDB, you will play a pivotal role in our Pre-Sales organization, ensuring that our growth is supported by strong technical alignment with our platform and customer needs. You will guide customers in designing and building reliable, scalable systems using our data platform, acting as a trusted advisor throughout the process. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with sales teams to identify customer challenges and demonstrating how our solutions can address them. You will also be involved in the technical aspects of the sales process, helping to win deals and drive business forward.

Your role will require you to engage with customers to review their existing application architectures, providing insights on how to improve their systems by leveraging MongoDB technology. You will be responsible for presenting technical solutions to clients, ensuring they understand the value of our offerings. Additionally, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure customer success and satisfaction, contributing to the overall growth of the organization.
