Google is seeking a Technical Operations Manager to oversee third-party data center facilities and maintenance. You'll leverage your operations management experience to ensure efficient operations in data center environments. This role requires 7 years of experience in facilities management.
You have a strong background in operations management and facilities management, with at least 7 years of experience in the field. Your educational background includes an Associate's degree or trade school certification in a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. You are skilled in performing operational assessments and risk analyses, particularly in data center environments, and you have a proven track record of initiating and executing initiatives in a global context. Your problem-solving skills are excellent, and you thrive in collaborative environments where you can foster positive relationships with clients and stakeholders.
In this role, you will oversee the daily operations of third-party data center facilities, ensuring that they run smoothly and efficiently. You will support the site selection process by applying your operational and technical knowledge, contributing to the strategy for smaller local groups. Your responsibilities will include performing operational assessments and risk analyses of third-party sites, forecasting resource requirements based on data-driven insights, and keeping main stakeholders informed about current work. You will also be responsible for discussing decisions and directions with stakeholders, ensuring that all parties are aligned and informed.
