Upstart is seeking a Senior Mobile Software Engineer to design and build scalable mobile applications. You'll work with React Native and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver user-centric features. This role requires significant experience in mobile development.
You have 5+ years of experience in mobile software engineering, with a strong focus on building high-quality applications. Your expertise in React Native allows you to create seamless user experiences that align with business goals. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with product managers and designers to deliver impactful features. You are detail-oriented and understand the importance of maintainable code and thoughtful system design. You are passionate about improving access to affordable credit and are excited to contribute to Upstart's mission. You are comfortable making technical decisions and enjoy mentoring junior engineers to help them grow.
Experience with other mobile frameworks or languages is a plus, as is familiarity with backend technologies. A background in financial technology or lending platforms would be beneficial, but not required. You are open to learning new technologies and adapting to the evolving needs of the team.
