ClearBank is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to provide legal guidance with a focus on commercial and fintech matters. You'll work closely with teams on product design and regulatory compliance. This role requires experience in advising fintechs or banks.
You are an experienced lawyer with a strong background in commercial law, particularly within the fintech or banking sectors. With at least 5 years of experience, you have a proven ability to navigate complex legal challenges and provide pragmatic solutions that align with business objectives. You thrive in environments that require a high level of autonomy and are comfortable making decisions that impact the organization. Your mindset is commercial and performance-driven, allowing you to approach legal tasks with a 'can-do' attitude that supports the bank's success.
You possess a deep understanding of regulatory frameworks and have experience advising on product design and readiness. Your ability to learn quickly and adapt to the regulated sectors is a key asset, enabling you to provide valuable insights to cross-functional teams. You are a strong communicator, capable of articulating legal concepts to non-legal stakeholders and fostering collaboration across departments.
