Overview

Guidepoint is seeking a Business Development Associate to expand business with major financial institutions. You'll conduct outbound prospecting and assist in building a pipeline of prospects. This role requires 1+ years of experience in sales or business development.

Job Description

Who you are

You have at least 1 year of experience in sales, business development, finance, banking, or business consulting. You are eager to learn about institutional investment industries and are motivated to contribute significantly to the business model. You possess strong communication skills and are comfortable conducting outbound prospecting to qualify new business leads.

What you'll do

In this role, you will partner with senior sales team members to schedule meetings with new prospects and set up meetings with existing strategic accounts. You will identify growth and cross-selling opportunities while managing client feedback calls. Meeting designated prospecting and meeting targets through cold calling and other lead-generation efforts will be a key part of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will assist in the development of marketing materials and client presentations, helping to communicate how Guidepoint supports its clients.
