We work with leading healthcare stakeholders worldwide to support data-driven quality measurement and transformation by combining in-depth analytical expertise with scalable technology and communication power.

Our offerings span international rankings, ratings, benchmarking studies, and customized projects. Our global healthcare rankings and hospital rating is published in collaboration with our trusted media partner Newsweek, enabling high visibility and credibility across markets.

We help healthcare organizations define relevant key performance indicators, validate and harmonize data structures, and translate insights into actionable measures. At the heart of our approach is a data driven understanding of healthcare quality, grounded in robust methodologies, global comparability, and stakeholder trust.

In our consulting projects, we support healthcare providers and systems in developing tailored KPI frameworks, standardizing and validating data processes, and deriving actionable insights that enable measurable improvements in patient care and system-level performance. We combine structured methodologies with hands-on delivery to unlock the full value of healthcare quality data.

Your Role
As a Senior Consultant, you will play a central role in the delivery of international benchmarking and healthcare data consulting projects. You will lead workstreams, shape methodologies, and take ownership of client deliverables. In addition, you will actively support the development of high-impact proposals and pitch documents for prospective clients.

You will collaborate closely with internal teams, particularly the Analysis, Data Science and Statista+ teams, to ensure scalable, high-quality solutions for our clients. The position offers a clear development path toward leadership responsibilities within Statista Healthcare.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and deliver workstreams within international healthcare benchmarking and transformation projects

  • Co-develop project methodologies, KPI frameworks, and scoring logic in close coordination with the Analysis and Data Science teams

  • Actively contribute to pitch preparation, proposal development, and acquisition processes

  • Coordinate internal and external stakeholder communication and manage selected client interfaces

  • Translate data insights into strategic recommendations and high-quality deliverables

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure operational readiness and product fit

  • Guide and mentor junior colleagues in content, structure, and client interaction

Your Profile

  • 2-3 years of relevant experience in consulting, healthcare strategy, or data-based project work with a strong focus on the healthcare sector

  • Healthcare sector expertise is a MUST

  • Proven expertise in KPI development, performance measurement, and benchmarking logic

  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills, with the ability to develop frameworks and narratives

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, including confidence in working with senior stakeholders

  • Experience supporting pitches, RFP responses, and business development activities

  • Willingness to travel internationally as required for client engagements

  • Self-driven, structured, and highly collaborative approach to problem-solving

  • Fluent in English; German is a plus

What We Offer

  • Strategic and hands-on role within a dynamic and growing healthcare vertical

  • Direct contribution to international client engagements and product development

  • Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams across consulting, product, and data science

  • Hybrid working model with high autonomy and responsibility

  • Competitive salary and development opportunities toward leadership roles

In addition to our great team, culture, and our shared goal of empowering people with data, there are many other things that make Statista a great place to work! Join us and benefit from:

  • Work from abroad 10 days a year (up to 30 if your family lives abroad)
