You have extensive experience in compliance management, ideally with a focus on regulatory frameworks such as FTC and CCPA/CPRA. You are adept at coordinating with external auditors and have a strong understanding of security requirements mandated by legal regulations. You are detail-oriented and possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to effectively partner with various teams within the organization. Experience in AI compliance and a background in cloud physical security would be advantageous. What you'll do

In this role, you will be a key member of the Legal department, reporting directly to the Chief Privacy Officer. You will help shape the direction of Verkada’s global regulatory compliance program, ensuring that the company adheres to all relevant legal obligations. You will collaborate closely with the Security team to fulfill compliance requirements and coordinate with external auditors to maintain transparency and accountability. Your responsibilities will include developing and implementing compliance policies, conducting internal audits, and providing training to staff on compliance matters. You will also monitor changes in regulations and assess their impact on the company’s operations, making recommendations for necessary adjustments. Your role will be pivotal in fostering a culture of compliance within the organization, ensuring that all employees understand their responsibilities in maintaining compliance.
