ClearBank is seeking a Senior Regulatory Counsel to provide regulatory advisory in banking, payments, and crypto. You'll engage in product development and commercial negotiations, requiring experience in fintech or banking law.
You are an experienced lawyer with a strong background in regulatory matters related to banking, payments, and cryptocurrency. With at least 5 years of experience, you have worked either in-house at a fintech or bank or in private practice advising such clients. You possess a commercial mindset and a pragmatic approach to complex legal challenges, demonstrating a 'can-do' attitude in your everyday tasks. You thrive in environments that encourage innovation and autonomy, and you are eager to contribute to a fast-growing business that is challenging the status quo in the banking sector.
Experience with competition law, litigation, and data protection will be advantageous, as you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of legal issues beyond regulatory compliance. You are comfortable collaborating with internal and external counsel and have a track record of successfully navigating legal complexities in a dynamic environment.
In your role as Senior Regulatory Counsel, you will provide expert regulatory advice to support ClearBank's operations and product development. You will engage directly with product teams to ensure compliance with relevant regulations while fostering innovation in banking services. Your responsibilities will include advising on regulatory frameworks, participating in commercial negotiations, and contributing to the development of new banking products.
