We are seeking a hands-on Software Development Manager to help build and lead an engineering team focused on AI-powered Seller Support transformation in Bangalore. Reporting to the Senior Software Development Manager, you will play a crucial role in establishing our technical foundation and growing our engineering organization from the ground up.
You will drive the technical implementation of our LLM-powered Associate Experience solutions while simultaneously building and mentoring high-performing engineering teams. This is a unique opportunity to shape both the technical architecture and the team culture as we establish our Bangalore technology hub.
Key job responsibilities
• Build and lead an engineering team (8-12 engineers) focused on developing our AI-powered support experience
• Drive the technical design and implementation of LLM-based features within our case management system
• Establish engineering best practices, coding standards, and development processes for the new organization
• Lead the hiring and onboarding of software engineers, setting high standards for technical excellence
• Partner with global teams to ensure seamless integration of locally developed solutions with existing systems
• Own the technical implementation of automated case routing and response generation systems
• Guide the development of APIs and services that will consolidate our fragmented toolset- 7+ years of engineering experience
- 3+ years of engineering team management experience
- 8+ years of leading the definition and development of multi tier web services experience
- Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification, and livesite operations
- Experience partnering with product or program management teams- Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and senior leadership to collect requirements, describe software product features, technical designs, and product strategy
- Experience in recruiting, hiring, mentoring/coaching and managing teams of Software Engineers to improve their skills, and make them more effective, product software engineers
