You are a highly motivated and detail-oriented Staff UX Designer with a strong background in creating user-centered designs. You have experience working closely with cross-functional teams, including Product, Engineering, and Design, to deliver intuitive and impactful user experiences. Your expertise in design tools, particularly Figma, allows you to craft exceptional interfaces that empower users. You understand the importance of user research and testing, and you are skilled at translating complex requirements into simple, elegant solutions. You thrive in a collaborative environment and are passionate about improving user experiences in the fintech space.

Desirable

Experience in the SaaS industry is a plus, as is familiarity with audit and financial reporting software. You have a portfolio that showcases your design process and the impact of your work on user engagement and satisfaction. You are open to feedback and continuously seek to improve your skills and knowledge in UX design.

What you'll do

As a Staff UX Designer at Caseware, you will play a critical role in designing user experiences for our cloud-based audit and financial reporting solutions. You will collaborate with Product Managers and Engineers to understand user needs and business goals, ensuring that your designs align with both. You will conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights that inform your design decisions. Your role will involve creating wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that effectively communicate your ideas. You will also be responsible for maintaining design consistency across our products and contributing to the development of our design system.

In this hybrid role, you will work three days a week in our Toronto office, allowing for close collaboration with your team while also enjoying the flexibility of remote work. You will have the opportunity to mentor junior designers and contribute to the growth of the design team. Your work will directly impact the user experience of over 500,000 accounting professionals worldwide, making your contributions vital to our mission.
