NICE is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their Work Force Management team. You'll focus on server-side component design and development in a hybrid work environment. This role requires expertise in Java and C#, along with experience in Agile methodologies.

Who you are

You have 5+ years of experience in software engineering, particularly in server-side development. Your background includes designing and implementing robust technical solutions that meet business requirements while adhering to architectural standards. You are familiar with Agile methodologies and thrive in collaborative environments where you can contribute to team success.

Your expertise in Java and C# allows you to develop high-quality applications, and you understand the importance of writing well-documented code. You are proactive in troubleshooting and maintaining existing software applications, always looking for ways to improve functionality and performance. You enjoy mentoring junior engineers and participating in code reviews to elevate the team's overall quality.

You are detail-oriented and committed to delivering solutions that not only meet but exceed expectations. Your ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders makes you a valuable team member. You are passionate about technology and continuously seek to expand your skill set and knowledge.

Desirable

Experience with client-side development is a plus, as is familiarity with testing frameworks and automation tools. You may have worked in various industries, giving you a broad perspective on software development challenges and solutions.

What you'll do

As a Senior Software Engineer at NICE, you will be responsible for designing and developing server-side components for our Work Force Management software. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Your role will involve writing clean, efficient code and developing unit, integration, and automation tests to ensure software quality.

You will participate in Agile ceremonies, contributing to sprint planning and retrospectives, and helping the team to continuously improve its processes. Your insights will drive technological and architectural decisions, and you will play a key role in code reviews, ensuring that best practices are followed.

In addition to development tasks, you will assist in troubleshooting and maintaining existing applications, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions. You will also have the opportunity to mentor junior engineers, sharing your knowledge and helping them grow in their careers.
