Job Description

Amazon is seeking a customer-centric leader to drive improvements in both Amazon Japan's and worldwide shopping journey through product innovation and deep analytical insights.

This Senior Program Manager is primarily responsible for leading projects involving customer-facing and cross-Product Family products in partnership with global Tech/PM partners (primarily in US/EU/India/Japan) and local Category Team partners to continuously improve the customer shopping experience.

This leader owns the localization, expansion, and efficiency improvement of products by leading cross-functional projects. They must have a deep understanding of Japanese customer pain points through data analysis and be responsible for continuously improving the customer shopping experience by measuring success and driving data-informed decisions.

The role requires balancing program execution with analytical rigor, making data-driven decisions while considering Japan's unique market challenges (language, back-end elements, etc.). The ideal candidate combines strong program management experience with strong analytical capabilities and has a proven track record of launching impactful initiatives backed by sophisticated data models and metrics.


Key job responsibilities
• Understand customer pain points, create and execute strategy to improve customer shopping journey on Amazon.
• Lead execution, expansion, and efficiency improvement through detailed program roadmaps and timelines across multiple workstreams
• Coordinate with stakeholders across different time zones and cultures to achieve common goals
• Establish and track program KPIs, manage progress reporting, and drive risk mitigation
