Uber is seeking a Deal Desk Senior Associate to lead the operational and commercial strategy for major advertiser partnerships. This role focuses on ensuring compliance and profitability while developing frameworks for deal execution. Strong collaboration with various departments is essential.
You have a strong background in business operations, ideally with experience in managing complex commercial agreements and partnerships. You understand the intricacies of deal structures and have a knack for ensuring compliance and profitability in high-stakes environments. Your ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, including Legal, Accounting, and Finance, sets you apart as a central figure in deal execution. You thrive in roles that require strategic thinking and operational excellence, and you are comfortable navigating the challenges that come with large-scale partnerships.
In this role, you will lead the strategy and structure of global Advertiser and Agency Upfronts/JBP programs, defining the commercial framework, terms, benefits, and governance rules. You will serve as the Deal Desk specialist for all Upfront/JBP proposals, ensuring that deals adhere to internal guardrails for pricing, inventory, legal compliance, and profitability. Your responsibilities will include designing and implementing the global operational processes and systems required to track deal attainment, measure benefit usage, and ensure accurate reporting on program performance against committed goals. You will act as the primary commercial quarterback, partnering closely with various departments to secure timely approvals, validate revenue recognition, and mitigate commercial risk in JBP/Upfront contracts. Additionally, you will develop compelling internal communications and training materials to support the operational framework you establish.
