Dandy is seeking a Founding Business Development Representative in Sydney to generate leads and shape the sales function in a hyper-growth environment. This role requires 1-2+ years of professional sales experience and familiarity with cold calling.
You have 1-2+ years of professional sales experience in a high-growth environment — you've successfully navigated the challenges of generating leads and filling the sales funnel. Your experience with cold calling, especially targeting SMBs, has equipped you with the skills to engage prospects effectively. You are comfortable using tools like Salesforce to track sales activity and continuously improve your processes. You thrive in a collaborative environment, working closely with Account Executives to ensure seamless client handoffs. You are eager to contribute ideas and feedback to shape the BDR function from the ground up, understanding that your input will directly influence the processes, tools, and strategies employed by the team.
As the first point of contact for a wide range of dental practice prospects, you will generate new business through various outbound channels, including email, phone, and creative outreach tactics. Your role will involve pitching the Dandy value proposition, handling objections, and moving prospects through the sales funnel. You will track your sales activities using Salesforce and other tools, ensuring that you maintain a clear overview of your progress and areas for improvement. Collaborating closely with Account Executives, you will ensure that client handoffs are seamless and that prospects receive the best possible service. Your contributions will help build the AU BDR function from scratch, allowing you to play a pivotal role in the company's growth and success.
