As an SDE II on the Alexa Automated Content Generation team within the GENIE organization, you'll have the opportunity to work on exciting projects that combine Large Language Models (LLMs) and Generative AI for content generation to create more intuitive user experiences.
In this role, you'll collaborate with a talented team of experts to develop novel algorithms, services, and techniques that advance the state of the art in multi-modal systems. You'll leverage Amazon's vast data resources and computing power to accelerate development and drive innovation e.g., patent submission. Your contributions will help define our overall strategy, from data enrichment and model optimization to system architecture and best practices.

* Design and implement innovative algorithms for Automated Content Generation
* Collaborate on strategy for content enrichment, model optimization, quality control, cost and responsiveness
* Drive system architecture decisions and establish best practices
* Work with cross-functional teams to integrate new features into Alexa products

A day in the life
Your typical day might involve brainstorming new approaches:
* To improve Alexa's automated content generation capabilities in terms of responsiveness, effectiveness, and uptime,
* Coding and testing algorithms, analyzing data to refine input parameters or models,
* Collaborating with team members to solve complex technical challenges.
You will also participate in code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to technical discussions that shape the future of our products and teams roadmap.

The Alexa Content Generation team is newly formed division within Genie. The team is a dynamic group of engineers, researchers, and product managers dedicated to enhancing Alexa's ability to understand and respond to user needs proactively. - 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
