Who you are

You have extensive experience in data engineering and platform development, ideally with a focus on DataOps. Your background includes designing and implementing enterprise-scale data infrastructure strategies that support machine learning initiatives and enhance engineering excellence. You are skilled in building and optimizing complex data pipelines, ensuring high reliability and performance across multi-region deployments. You possess strong analytical skills, enabling you to conduct thorough impact and cost analyses for major technical decisions. You are also adept at providing technical guidance to cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and innovation.

Desirable

Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP is a plus, as is familiarity with advanced monitoring and alerting systems. You may have worked in agile environments and are comfortable collaborating with product, design, and business teams to drive data-driven transformation.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead the design and implementation of robust data infrastructure that empowers engineers and AI teams at Doctolib. You will be responsible for shaping the data platform strategy and architecture, ensuring that it aligns with the company's goals for innovation and efficiency. Your work will involve building and optimizing data pipelines that handle petabyte-scale datasets, ensuring they meet the reliability standards expected in a healthcare environment. You will also lead cost analysis initiatives, identifying optimization opportunities across the data stack to reduce infrastructure spend while improving performance.

You will collaborate closely with data engineers and other technical teams, conducting architecture reviews and providing guidance on best practices. Your role will require you to stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies, integrating them into the data platform as appropriate. You will also play a key role in the agile feature teams, contributing to the development of innovative products that enhance the daily lives of care teams and patients.
