Orb is seeking a Software Engineer to help build next-generation billing infrastructure. You'll work closely with customers and the engineering team to deliver production-ready features. This role requires a passion for problem-solving and customer engagement.
You have a strong background in software engineering and enjoy building products that directly impact customers. You thrive in a collaborative environment and are comfortable alternating between coding and customer interactions. Your problem-solving skills enable you to tackle open-ended challenges effectively, and you are eager to contribute to a diverse and inclusive team culture.
Experience with billing systems or usage-based pricing models would be a plus, as well as familiarity with real-time data processing and analytics. You are adaptable and willing to learn new technologies as needed to meet customer requirements.
In this role, you will be responsible for shipping production-ready features that enhance Orb's billing infrastructure. You will collaborate closely with the Customer Success team to understand customer goals and guide them through technical setups. Your role will involve writing custom logic or tooling to meet specific customer needs, ensuring a smooth integration process. You will also work with the broader engineering organization to translate customer insights into scalable product improvements, contributing to the overall success of the company.
