Coupang is hiring an Accountant for their Revenue & Inventory Accounting team to oversee accounting processes related to revenue and inventory. You'll work with SQL and SAP, and experience with US-GAAP is preferred.
You have 3 to 15 years of experience in financial accounting, demonstrating a proactive approach to identifying and executing necessary tasks rather than waiting for assignments. You possess the ability to work independently while communicating effectively with diverse teams. Your analytical mindset drives you to delve deeply into root causes and problem-solving. You are skilled in handling large volumes of data and numerical information, showcasing your data processing capabilities. Experience with ERP systems, particularly SAP, is a plus, as is familiarity with US-GAAP and SOX controls. You have led projects related to establishing accounting processes for new business transactions.
In this role, you will review accounting processes for new business transactions and design systems and processes to support these activities. You will identify improvements in existing processes and enhance data validation methods. Your responsibilities will include preparing financial statements and related accounting reports, as well as establishing internal controls (SOX) for various business units and ensuring compliance with control procedures. You will also support ad-hoc accounting tasks within the organization, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the accounting team.
