You have 5+ years of backend engineering experience, building robust and maintainable services at scale. You understand the intricacies of application layers and have a track record of tackling critical platform challenges that enhance developer productivity. Your expertise in backend development allows you to mentor engineers effectively, guiding them through complex technical strategies and best practices.

You possess deep knowledge of tools like Django, staticcheck, mypy, and ruff, and you are comfortable using these technologies to elevate engineering velocity and safety. Your experience includes leading projects that optimize workflows and improve code quality across backend services, ensuring that the solutions you implement are both scalable and secure.

You thrive in collaborative environments, partnering closely with Infrastructure and Product teams to drive large-scale migrations and push the boundaries of backend development. Your ability to communicate technical concepts clearly makes you an effective mentor and leader within your team.

Desirable

Experience with service bootstrapping, formatting pipelines, and IDE support would be a plus. Familiarity with secure dependency management practices is also desirable, as it aligns with the team's mission to create a safe and delightful backend development experience.
