SpaceX is seeking a Launch Operations Technician - Level 4 to integrate secondary structures, avionics, and propulsion components into the Starship vehicle. This role requires extensive experience in mechanical and electrical hardware installation.
You have over 6 years of professional experience in propulsion, mechanical, automotive, electrical, or avionics hardware installation — your background includes hands-on operations with both large and small fragile assemblies. You possess strong avionics and mechanical integration skills, allowing you to effectively stage, set up, assemble, test, and install flight hardware. Your familiarity with precision-calibrated tools ensures that you can perform work according to procedures, specifications, and test instructions. You are adept at reading and interpreting engineering drawings and work instructions, which is crucial for the role. You have experience overseeing heavy rigging for large assemblies and operating personnel platforms such as boom lifts and scissor lifts. Your collaborative nature allows you to work closely with production engineers to develop and document integration processes, ensuring that all production services are performed on time and safely.
As a Launch Operations Technician at SpaceX, you will be responsible for the integration of all secondary structure, avionics, and stage propulsion components and systems into the vehicle’s primary structure. You will utilize your mechanical and electrical skills to perform fluids and pneumatic testing, ensuring that all systems are functioning correctly.
