You have a strong background in sales, particularly in the Startup and SMB segments, with a proven track record of nurturing customer relationships and driving product adoption. Your ability to build deep relationships with key stakeholders makes you a trusted advisor for payments, and you thrive in consultative engagements with highly technical customers. You possess strong analytical and quantitative capabilities, including comfort with basic financial modeling, which allows you to develop effective account strategies. Your superior verbal and written communication skills enable you to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively. You are comfortable operating in a highly ambiguous and fast-paced environment, demonstrating a strong interest in technology and its applications in business.
Experience with financial technology or payment processing is a plus, as is familiarity with CRM tools like Salesforce. A background in account management or business development will also be beneficial in this role.
As an Account Executive at Stripe, you will own contract renewals and lead commercial negotiations to increase and retain existing customer revenue. You will develop and implement account strategies aimed at driving product adoption, cross-selling, upselling, and client retention at scale among existing Stripe customers. Building deep relationships with key stakeholders in your portfolio of accounts will be crucial, as you aim to become their trusted advisor for payments. You will also be responsible for identifying upsell opportunities for additional Stripe products, ensuring long-term, consultative engagements with your clients.
