🚀 Your Role at a Glance: The key ways you'll bring value to the team

  • Join a cross-functional team with a mix of frontend engineers, designers, backend engineers, and others to develop mobile features for commerce merchants.

  • Take ownership of the development and maintenance of the mobile product, working with your team to translate UI/UX designs into high-quality code.

  • Collaborate with backend developers to ensure a high performance product.

  • Act as a leading voice in your team beyond just the technical aspects, participating in product ideation, retrospectives, and more.

  • Work with our native tech stack (react native, expo, nativewind) whilst staying up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in native development.

🔨 What Makes You a Great Fit

  • 5+ years of professional experience in software development, with a focus on native mobile development.

  • At least 3+ years industry experience of using React Native.

  • Experience of taking native mobile apps from early stages to wide adoption.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

What is important to point out is that you can do most or all of the above mentioned and can point to your real experience doing it. You've probably done it at companies of different shapes, sizes and industries. Given what we do, experience in financial services, fintech and business-to-business organisations is particularly interesting to us.

You should be comfortable making and defending technical decisions, while remaining open to feedback and alternative approaches. You'll need to balance technical excellence with business needs and help guide the team toward pragmatic solutions.

You excel at stakeholder management and can effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences. You're proactive in identifying and addressing potential issues before they become problems.

Our headquarters operates a hybrid model. The number of in-office days depends on your team, but the majority of teams and our SLT are typically in 3-4 days per week, giving you valuable exposure to senior leadership.

Home to around 30 employees, our brand-new London office also runs on a hybrid model. You’ll often find our CEO working alongside the team with regular visits.
