About the opportunity:
You will serve as a key operational role under the Regional Manager, ensuring operational excellence and seamless execution of business objectives within the region. This position requires a blend of operational savvy, political acumen, and strategic vision.
Key Responsibilities

Strategic Partnership: Act as a strategic advisor to the Regional Manager, providing insights and support on operational, market, business challenges.

Performance and risk metrics monitoring: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure operational success and drive accountability. Perform regular reporting on risk posture to senior leadership and regulators with clarity and technical fluency.

Resource management: Develop and manage the company resources, ensuring that all expenses are within budget.

Outsource management: Oversee and optimize relationships with third-party vendors to ensure cost efficiency and compliant operations within the first line of defense.

Regulatory compliance: Ensure adherence to local regulations and compliance requirements within the first line of defense by embedding regulatory standards into daily operations.

Policy & Issue Management: Proactively monitor, analyze, and influence legislative and regulatory proposals. Develop company positions, advocacy materials, and testimony. Ensure government affairs strategies are fully integrated with the region's business plans and day-to-day operations.
What We Look For in You:

Resident of El Salvador

Leadership experience in operations, ideally with legal background and government relations.

Strong experience navigating the local political and legislative environment.

Ability to work cross-functionally in a global, fast-paced, and high-growth environment.

Strategic thinker with sound judgment, political awareness, and strong execution capabilities.

Fluency in Spanish and English (spoken and written).
