Amazon is hiring a Senior Operations Manager to oversee budgetary, people development, and operational objectives at their Fulfillment Center. You'll lead a team of Operations and Area Managers to ensure performance objectives are met. This role requires strong leadership and operational management skills.

You have a proven track record in operations management, with experience leading teams and driving performance objectives. Your ability to coach and mentor others is key to your success, as you build positive employee relations and develop leadership within your team. You understand the importance of safety, quality, and customer experience in operations, and you are committed to meeting and exceeding business plans through effective management.

You are skilled in implementing quality initiatives and process changes, particularly within Lean frameworks. Your experience allows you to set clear expectations for your team, measure performance, and provide constructive feedback. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with support staff across various functions to secure resources and support for projects.

You are proactive in sharing best practices across departments and shifts, ensuring that your team is aligned with the overall goals of the Fulfillment Center. Your leadership style fosters an environment of accountability and continuous improvement, where team members feel empowered to contribute ideas and solutions.

Desirable

Experience in a high-volume fulfillment or logistics environment is a plus, as is familiarity with budget management and operational metrics. You may have a background in Lean Six Sigma or similar methodologies, which enhances your ability to drive process improvements effectively.

What you'll do

As a Senior Operations Manager at Amazon, you will be responsible for all aspects of operations at your site, including budgetary oversight and team development.
