What you'll do

In this role, you will build and lead Verkada’s employment legal function, providing guidance on employee relations, performance management, and compliance with wage and hour laws. You will advise the People Team on various employment law issues, ensuring that the company’s policies and practices align with legal requirements. You will also play a critical role in developing training programs for management and employees on employment law topics. As the lead employment counsel, you will be responsible for managing employment-related disputes and working with external counsel when necessary. Your leadership will be essential in scaling the legal function to support the company’s expanding workforce and ensuring that Verkada remains compliant with all applicable laws.
