You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience and at least 8 years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on full stack development. Your background includes 2 years of experience specifically in full stack development, working with both back-end technologies such as Java, Python, Go, and C++, as well as front-end technologies including JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS. You have spent 5 years in a technical leadership role, guiding teams and projects to success, and you have also accumulated 5 years of experience in people management or team leadership. You thrive in complex, matrixed organizations and are comfortable navigating the challenges that come with them.
You possess deep technical expertise that allows you to take on major projects while also providing leadership to your engineering team. You understand the importance of optimizing not just your own code but also ensuring that your engineers can optimize theirs. Your experience in managing project goals and contributing to product strategy is complemented by your ability to develop and mentor your team effectively.
A Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field is preferred, as is experience working in a complex, matrixed organization. You are familiar with the latest trends in software engineering and are eager to apply them to enhance team performance and product outcomes.
