Figure is seeking a Director of Business Development to drive partnership origination and increase volumes through their Figure Connect Marketplace. This role requires deep relationships within the Fintech and Asset-Based Lending sectors.
You are a seasoned business development professional with extensive experience in partnership origination, particularly within the Fintech and Asset-Based Lending sectors. Your deep relationships with originators across various financial products, including mortgages and corporate lending, position you as a key player in driving growth for Figure. You understand the nuances of capital markets and have a proven track record of leveraging technology to enhance business outcomes.
Your ability to navigate complex partnerships and foster relationships with third-party originators is critical. You are adept at identifying opportunities for collaboration and have a strategic mindset that allows you to align business goals with innovative solutions. You thrive in environments where you can influence and drive change, and you are passionate about utilizing blockchain technology to transform traditional financial processes.
Experience in the blockchain space is a plus, as is familiarity with AI-driven automation in financial services. You have a strong understanding of the competitive landscape and can articulate how Figure's offerings differentiate from others in the market. Your communication skills are exceptional, enabling you to present ideas clearly and persuasively to stakeholders at all levels.
In this role, you will be responsible for driving third-party originator volumes through the Figure Connect Marketplace. You will leverage the Demo Prime Warehouse lending platform as a key differentiator to attract and retain partners. Your strategic approach will involve identifying potential originators, building relationships, and negotiating terms that benefit both parties. You will collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure that the platform meets the needs of your partners and aligns with Figure's overall business strategy.
You will also monitor market trends and competitor activities to inform your strategies and identify new opportunities for growth. Your insights will help shape the direction of Figure's business development efforts and contribute to the company's mission of transforming capital markets through blockchain technology. You will be expected to report on performance metrics and provide regular updates to senior leadership on progress and challenges.
