The Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) Program Manager will serve as part of the Health Solution Team (HST) under Global Medical & Health (GMH) to drive day-to-day operational excellence by leading strategic initiatives and programs, while providing direct WHS support and partnership to Global sites.
Key job responsibilities
• Develop data-driven white papers for executive-level review that meet Amazon's technical writing.
• Conduct WHS regulatory research and maintain compliance standards.
• Conduct data analytics and translate findings into compelling narratives.
• Drive Amazon enterprise-wide health initiatives to uncover synergies, share key learnings, and scale successful pilot programs.
• Develop and maintain external vendor relationships that support the GMH mission.
• Partner with stakeholders to drive Health Solution programs.
• Lead strategic planning with business unit leadership teams to align, prioritize, and articulate business objectives with GMH goals; track program effectiveness and implement improvements.
• Develop strategies to improve HST programs and optimize costs.

About the team
The Global Medical & Health (GMH) Team consists of the Global Medical Team (GMT), Health Solutions Team (HST), and Health Data Strategy. This role will be supporting Health Solutions Team. - 3+ years of program or project management experience
- 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
- Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
- Bachelor's degree
- 3+ years of developing program strategies and plans, diving execution, and influencing senior stakeholders experience- 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
- 3+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
- Experience building processes, project management, and schedules
- Experience in complex problem solving, and working in a tight schedule environment

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
