Vercel is seeking a Manager for their Developer Success team to lead and coach a group of Platform Architects and Developer Success Engineers. You'll ensure high-quality customer engagements and drive business outcomes. This role is remote, based in the UK or Germany.
You have a strong background in customer success or technical account management, ideally with experience in leading teams that engage directly with high-value customers. Your leadership style is focused on coaching and developing talent, ensuring that your team delivers exceptional service and drives measurable business outcomes. You understand the importance of customer retention and are skilled in creating effective post-sales motions that align with both customer and business objectives. You thrive in a collaborative environment, partnering closely with cross-functional teams to enhance customer experiences and drive growth.
Experience in the tech industry, particularly with cloud infrastructure or developer tools, is a plus. You are familiar with metrics that measure customer success and can leverage data to inform your strategies. A passion for helping customers succeed and a proactive approach to problem-solving will set you apart in this role.
As the Manager of Developer Success at Vercel, you will lead a team of Platform Architects and Developer Success Engineers, guiding them in their day-to-day interactions with customers. Your primary focus will be on ensuring that your team delivers consistent, high-quality engagements that foster strong customer relationships and drive adoption of Vercel's products. You will oversee the execution of customer success initiatives, ensuring they are effective and aligned with the company's goals. You will also be responsible for coaching your team, helping them develop their skills and advance in their careers.
In this role, you will collaborate with various teams across the organization, including sales, product, and engineering, to ensure that customer feedback is integrated into product development and that customer needs are met effectively. You will analyze customer engagement data to identify trends and areas for improvement, using this information to refine your team's approach and enhance customer satisfaction.
