Job Description

Who you are

You're a strategic leader with a strong background in SEO, possessing the ability to drive organic discoverability for large platforms. With a keen understanding of search dynamics, you can translate complex algorithms into actionable strategies that resonate with both technical and executive teams. Your experience includes building scalable SEO systems and fostering a culture of experimentation and data-driven decision-making. You thrive at the intersection of technology and user behavior, seeing patterns where others see complexity. Your curiosity about AI-driven discovery keeps you ahead of industry trends, allowing you to innovate continuously.

You have a proven track record of leading enterprise initiatives, such as international expansion and site migrations, ensuring technical excellence in every project. Your collaborative spirit enables you to partner effectively with engineering, product, and UX teams, driving initiatives that enhance user experience and engagement. You are comfortable presenting insights and strategies to stakeholders at all levels, making you a key player in shaping the future of Audible's content discoverability.

Desirable

Experience with advanced SEO tools and analytics platforms is a plus, as is familiarity with AI technologies that enhance content discoverability. A background in audio or entertainment industries can provide valuable context for your strategies, helping you connect with the unique needs of Audible's audience.

What you'll do

In this role, you will architect and implement scalable SEO systems that connect millions of listeners with content they'll love. You will lead initiatives that focus on optimizing organic reach across traditional search engines and emerging discovery channels. Your responsibilities will include developing and executing data-driven strategies that validate and optimize SEO efforts at scale. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that technical excellence is maintained throughout all projects, particularly during international expansions and site migrations.

You will build a culture of rigorous testing and experimentation, using insights from data analysis to inform your strategies. Your role will involve translating complex search dynamics into actionable insights that can be communicated effectively to both technical teams and executives. You will also monitor industry trends and competitor strategies, adapting your approach to maintain Audible's position as a leader in audio entertainment.
