Amazon is seeking a Senior Content Acquisition Manager to lead deal negotiations and shape licensing strategies for the Pay film portfolio. You'll work closely with major US studios and cross-functional teams, requiring strong analytical skills and experience in content licensing.
You have over 7 years of experience in account management, business development, content licensing, or finance, demonstrating a successful track record in large complex deal negotiations. Your strong analytical and quantitative skills enable you to develop data-driven business models and valuation analyses, and you are proficient in using and modifying data sets in Excel and writing SQL queries. You possess excellent written communication and organizational skills, allowing you to adapt to a quickly changing environment while maintaining strong relationships with studio partners.
In this role, you will lead end-to-end deal negotiations with major US studios for Pay Movie Films, managing deals from initial outreach through final execution. You will develop and implement licensing strategies that align with Amazon's strategic objectives, collaborating with cross-functional partners including Content Strategy, Business Affairs, Marketing, Finance, and Creative teams. Your responsibilities will include building strategy documents and presentations to drive alignment on acquisition decisions, as well as conducting content performance assessments to inform deal structures and investment decisions. You will also be responsible for sourcing and securing compelling Pay Movie Films to enhance Amazon's Pay film portfolio, ensuring competitive positioning for Prime Video.
