Who you are

You have a strong background in test development engineering, with at least 5 years of experience in designing and implementing test infrastructure for complex systems. Your expertise in mechanical systems and satellite technology allows you to contribute effectively to the development and testing of satellite flight hardware. You possess a deep understanding of test automation and data acquisition, and you are skilled in programming languages such as Python and C++. Your experience with AWS and Linux environments enhances your ability to develop robust testing solutions. You are detail-oriented and have a passion for ensuring high standards of quality and reliability in all aspects of your work.

Experience with mechatronics and data processing tools is a plus. Familiarity with satellite systems and their operational requirements will help you excel in this role. What you'll do

In this role, you will design, analyze, and implement test equipment and infrastructure that supports the development and qualification of satellite flight hardware. You will author and refine validation, verification, acceptance, and qualification test procedures, ensuring that all systems meet rigorous performance standards. Your responsibilities will include developing mechatronics-focused test automation and data acquisition systems, as well as creating post-processing tools to analyze test data and extract meaningful metrics. You will lead efforts to improve testing processes and contribute to the overall success of the satellite program.

You will collaborate closely with engineers and project managers to ensure that testing aligns with project timelines and objectives. Your role will involve troubleshooting and resolving issues that arise during testing, as well as providing insights to enhance product performance and reliability. You will also be responsible for documenting test results and presenting findings to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and accountability in the testing process.
