Databricks is seeking a VP of Alliance to lead the APJ SI and Ecosystem strategy. You'll drive partner ecosystem growth and engage with C-level executives in the data and AI space. This role requires a deep understanding of SIs, ISVs, and hyper-scaler ecosystems.
You are a proven, visionary leader with extensive experience in building and scaling partner ecosystems across the Asia Pacific & Japan region. With a strong background in data and AI-driven business transformation, you have successfully engaged with C-level executives at both partner and customer organizations. Your deep understanding of system integrators (SIs), independent software vendors (ISVs), and hyper-scaler ecosystems such as AWS, Azure, and GCP sets you apart as a leader in this space. You are passionate about driving consumption growth and optimizing partner communities to deliver measurable business outcomes.
Experience in leading alliances and channels teams, with a focus on innovation and measurable growth in the data and AI sectors. A history of successfully defining and executing ecosystem strategies aligned with global objectives and regional priorities is highly desirable. You thrive in fast-paced environments and are adept at building high-value partnerships that contribute to revenue and new customer acquisition.
In this role, you will define and execute the APJ SI and ecosystem strategy, ensuring alignment with global objectives and regional priorities. You will be responsible for building and scaling a durable partner ecosystem that spans global system integrators, regional partners, and other key stakeholders across the region. Your leadership will drive partner-led consumption of Databricks' platforms and solutions, ensuring measurable contributions to revenue and new logos. You will inspire and lead a world-class team, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
You will engage with C-level executives to build strong relationships and drive strategic initiatives that enhance the partner ecosystem. Your ability to analyze market trends and identify opportunities for growth will be crucial in shaping the future of Data & AI adoption across the region. You will also be responsible for measuring the success of partnerships and making data-driven decisions to optimize performance.
