Carvana is seeking an Experienced Diesel Technician to join their Fleet Maintenance team. You'll work on Class 8 trucks and trailers, ensuring vehicle uptime and safety. This role requires problem-solving skills and a passion for vehicle maintenance.
You are a skilled Diesel Technician with experience working on Class 8 trucks and trailers. You enjoy problem-solving and are dedicated to ensuring vehicle uptime and safety. You thrive in a collaborative environment and are eager to contribute to a rapidly growing team. You possess a valid driver’s license and can communicate effectively in English. You are committed to maintaining high standards in your work and are open to continuous learning and development.
Experience with fleet maintenance and knowledge of diesel engines is a plus. ASE certification is desirable, and you are willing to pursue further certifications to enhance your skills. You have a proactive approach to troubleshooting and enjoy working in a hands-on role.
As a Diesel Technician at Carvana, you will be a key part of the Fleet Maintenance team, responsible for ensuring that our Class 8 fleet is safe and reliable. You will perform routine maintenance and repairs on day cabs and trailers, focusing on preventative measures to minimize downtime. Your role will involve diagnosing issues, conducting inspections, and performing necessary repairs while adhering to safety protocols. You will work closely with other team members to maintain a high level of service and efficiency in the fleet operations.
You will also have opportunities to participate in internal training programs, including classroom time for DTNA ARC Certification. Your contributions will directly impact the reliability of our fleet, ensuring that vehicles are ready for operation and meet manufacturer warranty standards. You will be expected to keep accurate records of maintenance and repairs, contributing to the overall efficiency of the fleet management process.
