Overview

Uber is hiring a Sales Development Representative to bring local restaurants onto the Uber Eats platform. You'll manage the full sales cycle and negotiate partnerships with small and medium restaurants in Guayaquil. This role requires a Bachelor's degree and strong sales skills.

Who you are

You are a natural at selling and have a deep understanding of the local restaurant scene. With a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field, you are either a recent graduate or in your final year of study. Your intermediate English skills (B1+) allow you to communicate effectively with diverse partners. You are passionate about food and technology, and you thrive in a role that requires negotiation and relationship-building.

What you'll do

In this role, you will own and manage a pipeline of local small and medium restaurants, focusing on signing new partnerships in your geographic region. You will engage in a mix of cold-calling—making at least 50 dials per day—and in-person meetings to create a great first impression as an ambassador for Uber Eats. Your responsibilities will include managing contract negotiations to establish strong working relationships with restaurant partners, ensuring sustainable economics for both parties.

You will be measured by your ability to achieve and exceed your monthly sales quota while proactively building your pipeline. This involves managing and hitting weekly metrics related to cold calls, emails, and field appointments. You will play a crucial role in helping restaurants grow their business with Uber, making your contributions vital to the success of the Uber Eats platform.
