Senior Operations Engineer, AMZL Process Engineering

Who you are

You have a strong background in operations engineering, with experience in managing new product and process development for high-value programs. You are a hands-on leader who can influence and work with senior leaders across multiple organizations and geographies. You thrive in environments where speed is essential and are adept at dealing with ambiguity while advocating for customer needs.

You possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to collaborate effectively with teams such as Worldwide Engineering and Design, Last Mile Delivery, and Tech. Your ability to drive end-to-end product delivery from inception to execution is a key strength, and you are passionate about innovating at scale to meet customer demands.

Desirable

Experience in logistics or supply chain management would be a plus, as well as familiarity with process engineering methodologies. You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and have a track record of successfully managing large, complex initiatives.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for owning the process/product roadmap for the next generation of Amazon Logistics delivery stations. You will lead initiatives that aim to disrupt the delivery business and enhance the customer experience. Your role will involve collaborating with various teams to ensure that the vision for AMZL delivery is realized effectively.

You will manage large-scale projects, ensuring that they align with Amazon's strategic goals and customer needs. Your ability to navigate complex organizational structures will be crucial as you work with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and efficiency in logistics processes.

You will advocate for the customer throughout the development process, ensuring that their needs are met while also pushing for breakthroughs that can transform the delivery landscape. Your leadership will be instrumental in guiding teams through the challenges of product development and implementation.
