Cribl is seeking a Product Manager for their Stream Data Plane to enhance data movement and processing for major IT and security organizations. You'll work with technologies like Kubernetes and distributed systems. This role requires experience in product management and a strong understanding of data infrastructure.
You have a strong background in product management, ideally with 5+ years of experience in technology-focused roles. You are comfortable discussing complex technical topics such as persistent queuing and back pressure handling, and you can effectively communicate with both technical teams and executive stakeholders. Your experience includes working with distributed systems and containerized infrastructure, giving you a solid understanding of how to manage data flow in cloud and hybrid environments. You are a collaborative team player who thrives in a remote-first setting, and you are passionate about putting customers first. You enjoy working in a dynamic environment where you can drive product strategy and execution.
Experience with enterprise data management and familiarity with security protocols is a plus. You have a knack for user research and can translate customer needs into actionable product features. A background in IT or security industries will help you understand the unique challenges faced by our clients.
As the Product Manager for the Stream Data Plane, you will own the core functionalities that dictate how data moves through Cribl Stream. This includes routing, processing, and ensuring performance and scalability across various deployment models. You will collaborate closely with engineers and field teams to enhance the reliability and operational ease of our data plane at scale. Your role will involve defining product roadmaps, prioritizing features based on customer feedback, and ensuring that our solutions meet the highest standards of performance. You will also engage directly with customers to gather insights and validate product direction, ensuring that we are aligned with their needs and expectations. You will lead cross-functional teams in sprint planning and execution, driving the development of features that enhance our product's capabilities.
