AKQA is seeking a Creative Director to lead visual and motion design initiatives. You'll mentor a team and drive storytelling across various media. This role requires expertise in Adobe Creative Cloud and motion graphics.
With over 12 years of experience in visual design and motion graphics, you have a strong portfolio that showcases your storytelling abilities and campaign-level thinking. You possess expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, including After Effects, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, and Photoshop, and are skilled in animation, compositing, and visual effects. Your experience with 3D tools such as Cinema 4D or Blender is preferred, and you have a solid understanding of UI/UX motion design for app and web animations. You excel at translating strategy into visually compelling narratives, whether static or motion, and have the ability to lead and mentor a team of designers while ensuring quality and consistency across projects.
Experience working with Lottie or vector motion assets is a plus, as is familiarity with interactive media and digital platforms. You are comfortable collaborating with creative directors, strategists, and clients to deliver on-brand visual experiences that elevate the agency's voice and champion innovation in design.
As the Creative Director, you will bridge creative vision and execution across static and motion media. You will lead and mentor a team of UI/UX, visual, and motion designers, defining high-quality visual standards and driving storytelling through creative ideation. Your role is critical in ensuring cohesive brand expression across campaigns, digital platforms, film/animation, and interactive media. You will partner closely with creative leadership, strategy, clients, and production teams to deliver compelling visual experiences that resonate emotionally with audiences. You will champion innovation in design and translate big ideas into polished work that reflects the agency's vision.
