Job Description

Who you are

You have experience as a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) with a focus on supporting mission-critical applications. You are excited about building solutions that enhance automation, stability, and release processes across multiple systems. Your hands-on engagement and troubleshooting skills are complemented by your ability to develop automation solutions that improve overall release quality and reliability. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with engineering teams to identify and address common issues while driving effective solutions. You understand the importance of maintaining release quality and pipeline health, and you are comfortable managing on-call support rotations. You are a U.S. citizen or permanent resident due to export control requirements.

What you'll do

In this role, you will own the daily build, test, and release pipelines end to end, ensuring their stability and performance. You will monitor pipeline health, diagnose and resolve failures, and work to reduce flaky tests and nondeterministic failures. Your focus will be on improving pipeline speed and reliability while enhancing the signal-to-noise ratio. You will engage in release engineering and operational reliability, directly impacting the ability of the Leo team to deliver high-quality, reliable releases efficiently. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance automation and streamline release processes, ensuring that the systems you support operate seamlessly. You will also be involved in troubleshooting issues that arise during the release process and implementing solutions that enhance overall system performance.

What we offer

Amazon offers a competitive compensation package, including equity, sign-on payments, and a full range of medical and financial benefits. You will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where your contributions directly impact the quality and reliability of mission-critical applications. The role provides a chance to grow your skills in automation and release engineering while being part of a team that values collaboration and innovation.
