Google is seeking a Technical Solutions Developing Manager to lead customer-facing technical teams in AI/ML solutions. You'll leverage your expertise in troubleshooting and managing large-scale applications while working with technologies like Kubernetes and Machine Learning. This role requires 13 years of experience in technical consulting and team management.
You have a Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics, along with 13 years of experience troubleshooting and advocating for customers' needs. Your background includes managing a technical, customer-facing team for at least 3 years, where you've honed your skills in triaging technical issues across hardware, software, and operational processes. You are well-versed in two or more of the following areas: Web Tech, Data/Big Data, Systems Administration, Machine Learning, Networking, Kubernetes, Oracle, and SAP. Your experience includes reading code in general-purpose programming languages such as Java, C, C++, Python, Shell, Go, and JavaScript, which allows you to effectively communicate with engineering teams.
You have a strong foundation in troubleshooting and supporting large-scale applications, including web services, data storage, databases, and data pipelines, across Linux/Unix or Windows operating systems. Your familiarity with AI/ML models, frameworks, and cloud-based deployments positions you as a leader in the field. You are adept at using SQL, R, and Python for data analysis and have a knack for identifying opportunities to improve support processes through self-service tools and documentation.
Experience in technical consulting for large enterprise customers with high service-level objectives and agreements is a plus. Your ability to manage hosted services and SaaS solutions enhances your profile, making you a valuable asset to any team.
In this role, you will lead a team focused on delivering technical solutions that meet the needs of Google Cloud customers. You will be responsible for troubleshooting complex technical issues and advocating for customer needs, ensuring that your team is equipped to handle escalations effectively. Your leadership will guide the team in performing analyses using relevant tools and leveraging data infrastructure to formulate actionable insights.
You will work closely with engineering teams to develop and implement solutions that empower customers to resolve issues independently. This includes building self-service tools and comprehensive documentation that enhance the customer experience. Your role will also involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure that the technical solutions align with business objectives and customer expectations.
