Carvana is seeking a Mid-Level Auto Mechanic to perform light to medium automotive repairs. You'll work on various vehicle systems including radiators, timing belts, and climate control. This position requires a minimum of 3 years of professional automotive repair experience.
You have at least 3 years of professional automotive repair experience, demonstrating a solid foundation in automotive mechanics. Your expertise includes performing light to medium repairs, and you are comfortable with tasks such as working on radiators, timing belts, alignments, and suspension systems. You are a team player who thrives in a collaborative environment and is committed to delivering exceptional customer service. You possess a valid driver’s license and can read, write, speak, and understand English fluently. You are eager to learn and grow within the company, taking advantage of training programs offered for entry-level positions.
Experience with advanced diagnostic tools and techniques is a plus, as is familiarity with the latest automotive technologies. ASE certification would be beneficial, but not mandatory. You are adaptable and willing to work mandatory overtime when necessary to meet customer demands. A passion for the automotive industry and a desire to contribute to a fast-growing company like Carvana will set you apart.
As a Mid-Level Auto Mechanic at Carvana, you will be responsible for performing general automotive repairs on a variety of vehicles. This includes tasks such as replacing radiators, timing belts, and performing alignments and suspension repairs. You will also handle repairs for wheel bearings and axles, as well as vehicle climate control repairs, including AC and heater core replacements. Your role will involve using state-of-the-art tools in one of our high-tech Inspection Centers, ensuring that you have the resources needed to deliver high-quality work.
You will work closely with other mechanics and technicians, collaborating to ensure that all repairs are completed efficiently and to the highest standards. Your commitment to quality and attention to detail will help maintain Carvana's reputation for exceptional customer service. You will also have the opportunity to participate in training programs that will help you develop your skills and advance your career within the company.
