Whatnot is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer to enhance the content and navigation experience on their live shopping platform. You'll leverage AI technology and data analysis to improve user engagement. This role requires expertise in machine learning and Python.
You have a strong background in machine learning and AI, with experience in building and deploying models that enhance user experiences. Your proficiency in Python allows you to develop robust algorithms and data pipelines that drive insights and improve navigation systems. You understand the importance of data analysis in shaping product features and user engagement strategies. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful solutions. You are adaptable and eager to learn, always looking for innovative ways to apply machine learning techniques to real-world problems.
Experience with large-scale data processing and familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP would be beneficial. Knowledge of search algorithms and taxonomy development is a plus, as is a passion for e-commerce and user experience design.
