Job Description

The Demand Planning Manager is a lead position within the eero supply chain organization. As the Demand Planning Manager, you will collaborate with numerous cross-functional stakeholders to build and deliver short and long term consensus demand plans.

As the eero business has had substantial growth in the last 3-5 years, this role is also responsible for developing new forecasting tools and scalable processes to simplify growing business complexities, improve forecast accuracy, and drive long term sales strategies.

The ideal candidate is comfortable creating data driven financial forecasts amongst ambiguity and delivering results autonomously. The ideal candidate has experience creating tops-down demand plans by using macroeconomic indicators, market trends, and historical data as well as owning the bottoms up consensus demand plan for monthly build meetings.

Key job responsibilities
- Build demand planning models and provide risk analysis based on “what if” scenarios to influence sales strategies and set financial targets.

- Lead the monthly executive demand review meeting, ensuring proper escalation of topics as needed, owning scenario analysis with proposals, and driving actions/decisions to completion
- Drive process improvements and automation for demand planning tools to reduce manual data aggregation, increase forecast accuracy, and develop sales dashboards to drive business insights.
- Work cross-functionally with channel forecast owners to understand the latest thinking for customer activity and incorporate risks and opportunities into the demand plan to limit supply liability.
- Review historical sales trends, research demand drivers, validate sales inputs, develop statistical forecast models, and evaluate sales results for both long and short term demand planning.
- Communicate complex strategies concisely and in succinct written formats to a wide variety of stakeholders for purposes ranging from informing working teams to gaining financial approval from executives.
- Understand NPI roadmaps to manage product transitions through the full product life cycle to help manage E&O
- Serve as the Key Liaison between channel forecast owners and supply planning to reduce forecast volatility to enable accurate supply planning and efficient supply chain operations.

- 5+ years of with Excel experience
- Expert in Microsoft Excel, macros a plus
- Experience building statistical data models
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- High attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
- Must be a self-starter with strong strategic influence
- Person must maintain flexibility and organization in operations in the face of naturally fluctuating customer demand
- Demonstrated ability to build new processes and leverage ERP technology to streamline planning processes- Four-year degree or equivalent experience
- Planning experience in consumer electronics a plus, but not required.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $109,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
