SpaceX is hiring a New Graduate Engineer, Mechanical to contribute to the development of high-performance flight hardware and rocket production lines. You'll work with AutoCAD, MATLAB, and SolidWorks in Cape Canaveral.
You are a recent graduate with a degree in Mechanical Engineering, eager to apply your knowledge in a real-world setting. You have experience with design software such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks, and you are familiar with MATLAB for simulations and calculations. Your academic projects have prepared you to tackle engineering challenges, and you are excited about the opportunity to work on cutting-edge aerospace technology. You possess strong analytical skills and a keen attention to detail, allowing you to optimize designs and improve manufacturing processes. As a New Graduate Engineer, Mechanical at SpaceX, you will be involved in building high-performance flight hardware and contributing to the development of rocket production lines. You will rapidly iterate manufacturing processes and development testing in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that our systems are efficient and reliable. Your responsibilities will include executing design for manufacturability changes to enhance production efficiency, performing hand calculations and FEA to develop and optimize designs, and assisting with hands-on assembly, integration, and testing of new and flight-proven hardware.
