You have a strong background in security engineering, with experience in building and maintaining security tools and infrastructure. Your expertise includes collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and implement security features, particularly in cloud environments like AWS. You are comfortable leading complex projects and mentoring teammates, ensuring that security practices are integrated into the development lifecycle.
You understand the importance of safeguarding sensitive data and have a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating security risks. Your experience includes working with various security frameworks and tools, and you are familiar with best practices in security architecture. You thrive in a collaborative environment and are eager to contribute to a mission-driven team.
Experience with compliance standards and regulations relevant to the biotechnology industry would be a plus. Familiarity with incident response and threat modeling is also desirable, as is a passion for staying updated on the latest security trends and technologies.
As a Security Engineer at Benchling, you will lead the architecture and development of security tools and infrastructure that support the company's security mission.
